Making a car donation (with a car you would otherwise be ready to give away) could bring in extra revenue for them that you normally would not be able to donate out of pocket.

Car donations are often tax deductible, too. Large donations like a car can pay off when tax time rolls around. Most people trade in their car every three or four years for a new model. They take the trade-in money and use it for a down payment. If the car is in good condition, and the money is not a necessity, try donating the car to people who could use it or sell it. A portion of money will be returned in the form of a tax break.

If a person has money to spare, but not the time to give to a charitable cause, making a car donation with a van for a local charity is also an option. Money can always be used, but since cars are so expensive these days, having a new one is a welcome donation and will be appreciated. Doing something nice for others can make a person feel better about themselves.

A car donation can last for years, as long as people take care of the car. This is good for the community and for the people who donate goods and services. The car can also be used to bring supplies to medical clinics or shelters or to drive the elderly to doctor appointments or to senior centers where they can socialize. The car can also be used to transport items needed for bake sales and clothing drives. A car donation is a gift that keeps giving for many years
